stopped after 5miles. i could not keep up this pace if i was going for 10miles and heart rate was higher than what i was targeting. waited for HR to go down to 2 digits (about 3min) before starting the 2nd half, which i recorded separately below.
side note: ran into dave right after first mile. stopped to chat a bit.

2nd half of the 10miler. reduced speed to run more comfortably. felt really good all the way to the end.
