early run with G, before breakfast, with one goal in mind, keep HR under 150. was able to do so up to mile 5, then it started to drift into low 150's. i gave up on the goal and just kept a comfortable steady pace for the rest of the run. legs felt good.

note: HR was unusually high, in the 170's for the first half mile.

spin class with gail, intervals as usual. calves are still sore. will try to stretch them out later tonight.
