took the schwinn mtb out for an ez cruise along the beach. started from backbay and rode to end of sunset beach and back. beautiful day out, waves were choppy though.

ahr:155 max:172 shoes: brooks adrenaline

5 miles out and back. kept HR in the 140's for the 1st 3 miles for proper warm up. fought head winds on the way out but got a little nudge on the way back so it all balanced out. legs felt decent on this run, no niggles.

got only about an hour of sleep last night, up working till dawn. was very surprised to feel normal. quick warm up run for spin. didn't have enough time, had to cut it 5min shy of 30. legs felt better today.

challenging interval workout today. bike computer was broken, could not attain HR reading.

-- upgraded to ultra, can't wait to start swimming again.

shin splints on left leg again, otherwise, felt good on this run. will continue to keep mileage low and pace comfortable, nothing fancy, until this shin splints thing goes away.

intervals as usual, got HR to low 150's.
