rode hj with G, jim, and bill. we met up early @ jim's place. what a perfect day to ride, slight cool breezes, overcast, just perfect. i was surprised to make half of the switchbacks. couldn't recall the last time i was on a technical trail, 6 months, maybe more? the climb was gradual, nothing hard. we had fun hiking bikes over water crossings and stopped a lot. bill didn't feel well. greg had a flat on the way down. there were lots of poison oaks along the trail. ran into maurice and stacy on the way out. they were just starting to trabuco.

intervals - set 1% incline, warmed up @ 6.5mph for 10min, then 3x3min @ 7.3mph w/ 2min rest. felt better than last week, working torwards 4x3min. maybe next week? left shin felt great.

intervals with brenda. felt really good, had lots of energy. need to recall what i ate for breakfast... hm...

steady run @ 1% incline. legs felt pretty good, not great, like yesterday. this pace was comfortable. i could keep it going for a long while.
