went on a hike with david, naomi, ivan, and G. we started from the visitor center, hiked up to the peak, and then down, a good 9mile loop. we got lost a couple of times. we had to scramble up a steep face to get to a trail on the ridge at around mile 2. that was really tough. i couldn't have done it without G's help. when we finished 6 hours later, i took off my shoes and found out that i had a pretty bad cut on top of the right foot, which was bleeding profusely. that was strange. i didn't feel pain, too much adrenaline?

afterwards, we all met up with frank and selene for dinner in arcadia. fun times!

squeezed in a quick sunset mtb ride with G after a full day of home renovation. what a beautiful evening. wished we had more time to ride. still felt tired, was breathing hard up hills.

tried to do a slow and steady run, with HR averaging in the 140's but had no luck. HR was super high, still recovering from sickness. Legs were heavy and felt tired on this run. I hope to be stronger soon, this sucks :o(

first day back on the wagon. ran steady on the treadie but pretty soon felt light headed and weak after only 15min. slowed down to a walk for a couple of minutes, drank water, and started it up again. i guess i'll have to come back slowly, still recovering.

it was good to sweat it out.
