love the cool air from morning runs, but not the crowd. saw 2 accidents on the backbay loop. the first one was at the bottom of the hill, just pass the YMCA. the victim was already picked up by the ambulance. G saw a puddle of blood. i didn't notice it, just kept running, tried to pass the crowd. the second accident was around mile 4, 2 cyclists ran into each other. one of the guys walked off with a bent rear tired. crazy!

felt really good on this run. tried to keep it steady, no hard efforts. started off slow and picked up speed the last few miles.

we went to 3 places before we found open lanes to swim in. puddled around for half an hour and got out. arms were chafed pretty bad from the morning run. they stung in the chlorine water. didn't feel like swimming.

gail worked us hard today and i felt it. legs were still tired from the weekend.
