ran the first mile, than picked up the beach cruiser G left behind and rode the 2nd mile, dropped it, ran the 3rd mile, rode the 4th mile, repeat until mile 10.

shin splints was almost unnoticeable after mile 1, very good progress! time and distance did not include 5min walk before and after run.

forgot the garmin today so i'm totally guessing on distance and elevation. we started from the ridge park entrance. saw a singletrack that we didn't notice before and hopped on. turned out, it was super long and technical. thought we were the only people on this trail until we ran into a group of about a dozen riders, heading the opposite direction. all of us trying to pass each other on a very tight singletrack. made it back to the truck before dark.

stayed up late working again, at most 5 hours of sleep, but more likely less.

started out with a 5min walk on the treadmill, then slowly up it from 6.0mph to 7mph for 30min. did not have time to cool down (walk) before spin. pain was hardly noticeable after mile 2, definitely making progress.

tried to add a few extra credits to get a better workout. feeling good today, lots of energy.
