woke up early this morning to look for the garmin watch at el moro, no sign of it in the parking lot, where i thought it must have fell off the side of G's truck. checked with lost and found, nothing. left name and number at the office in the hope that some kind soul might have found it and will turn it in. well, a girl can dream, can't she?

ran the usual back bay route to shake out the legs and clear the mind. felt really good and strong, even steady breath, well controlled. time/pace based on estimated start and stop time, not accurate.

rode with G. started from the parking lot across from crystal cove. went clockwise, thru deer canyon, fence line, down "i think i can" just so we can go up it again, and then down BFI. legs felt a little on the weak side, probably from spin yesterday. made it up "i think i can" with HR below 150.

note: lost my garmin HRM at the parking lot. i must have left it on top of the truck, just before we headed home. ARGHHHH! i'm so upset with myself. i have no HR or elevation gain data for today. will go back to the parking lot first thing tomorrow to see if i can find it.

got another night of decent sleep. work has tapered off for now.

did a quick warm up run before spin. left leg felt weird. knee was too loose or something. i've been feeling this for the past week. hope it'll go away.

hard session today, led by ron (sub). clothes were completely soaked. drank all water 3/4 into the hour. good workout, legs and lungs felt strong.

caught up on my sleep for the last couple of days. attempted to go to spin but was late once again. ran on the treadmill instead. felt ok, not great, too rested?

work was surprisingly light. i took advantage of it and went to the pool to get in a swim session. every lane was taken. i didn't want to share (selfish me) so i waited a little.

quads were tight at first but loosen up nicely after drills. legs still felt weak so i didn't push it hard.

9x50 warm up and drills (3 x ik, 3 x sk, 3 x sb)
4x25 race pace with fins
4x50 (bumped up 2 lanes)
