felt much better this morning, no more congestion!! just running nose and annoying cough now. had energy to workout but wanted to give the body more rest time to recover so didn't. whip out the old schwinn for casual ride to breakfast with G, backbay - irvine (for mimi's) - backbay, amazing weather today.

working out yesterday was a bit too soon. afterwards, felt really crappy. took off work early and laid in bed for the rest of the day. had to pull the plug on whiting ranch ride with the girls.

woke up this morning feeling better. decided to take it easy and give the body time to recup.

sinus congestion was at its worse yesterday but feeling a bit better this morning, and it's only going to get better from here on out. took a tylenol PM before bed last night, was able to sleep soundly. pulled the plug on a mtb ride yesterday and masters this morning.

ran/walked on treadmill to get the blood flowing again. ran a slow mile, walked for 5 min, ran another mile at easy pace, and walked the last 5min. legs felt good. congestion cleared up somewhat for the last 10min or so.

went for an easy interval spin with brenda. felt a bit light headed torward end of class. am nursing a headache now. not enough oxygen?

felt tired in the pool today. worked on stamina, smooth, easy strokes, using the least amount of energy possible.

short sleep, stayed up to 2am to work last night and still didn't quite get it done, such is life. got me a caramel macchiato and FREE blueberry scone this morning from starbucks and i'm in a state of utter bliss.

have been fighting a sore throat since sunday with chicken noodle soups, lots of cranberry juice, hot teas, and listerine. i think it's working!!!

quick run to thaw out the legs which were still tight from sunday's run. felt good, warmed up after 10 minutes. started out slow at 10min/mile for the first half, then increased pace steadily the 2nd half.

EZ spin to loosen up them legs and give the heart a little tug. brenda brought awesome music today, reminded me of robert miles. felt really good. didn't want to push harder. needed the legs to be strong for swim tomorrow. love wednesdays at masters.

stretched and worked on upper body strength, the usual, biceps, triceps, chest and shoulders. didn't do any abs today. will get to it later.

the pool was nice and warm and crowded today. shared a lane with G and Dave. did the usual monday drills, kickboard, side kicks, alternate sail, and then 15x50's. legs are a bit fatigue from the run yesterday. note: need to work on dolphin kick.
