learned the fly today, it wasn't pretty. never felt the brain so completely disconnected from the body before. hope chlorine water is good for you, drank about a gallon of it. as bad as it sounds, it only made me want to stay in the pool longer to get it right. note to self, let's make time for more swimming this weekend.

shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra

ran on treadmill. felt like a deer, long and slow strides. breathing was effortless.

CYCLING/SPIN (24 metro) 1:00:00 [3] 18.0 mi (18.0 mph)

started with warm up, then short intervals, big climb, short intervals, and quick cool down. right knee was a little uncomfortable near the end, otherwise, felt strong, good cadence, and quick recovery. wonder what HR was. need to bring garmin next time. totally guessing on mileage also.

note: tried to do a 2nd run session after spin but legs felt like lead. after a few min, canned the run. need to save the legs for tomorrow ride.

the usual upper body workout, concentrating on triceps as Kerry said it was necessary for good butterfly. need all the help i can get.
