Middle event. No GPS - forgot to start watch. Did well. First in class with respectable time overall. 35 plus minutes.

Sprint event. Missed a control - ran right by it. Lots of trouble with reading map. All agree that the printing of course was not very legible. Interesting and nice inside finish on very windy day.

Used Aleve 1.5 hrs. before and jogged 50% through (less) pain. No wrap. I suppose this is my West Point plan.

This is/was an attempt to see what's up physically before West Point. Medically I have an enlarged T-12 compression fracture that hurt like Hell when it happened and for a few days. But, it doesn't hurt that much now. I also have a damned hamstring pull that does still hurt and prevents running. Today I wore a wrap around waist and thigh that has plusses and minuses: does keep leg tight and seemingly hard to injure; is confining and hot and doesn't allow freedom of movement. Might try same loop later without wrap. Jogged just a little.

So there it is - slightly faster without wrap - but MUCH more painful. Also jogged a little more 1/3? If something for pain pre-run would help - that would call for no wrap. Otherwise, not worth it for 1 minute faster. Crap. This is pretty disrouraging.
