Orienteering race 45:09 [5] 6.2 km (7:17 / km)
ahr:160 max:180 shoes: Icebug Spirit OLX

Won the Red Long at Rotoiti by about 11min. Felt pretty good but lost confidence when I lost time on 12, and then made lots of mistakes after that as I thought I was going badly. I managed to convince myself I was going well after those few controls and picked up the pace again.

Did a long run at Canaan Downs. Went off the map to explore the forest for runnability but it was horrible. Massive ridges of rock less than a metre wide with 5m deep chasms on either side, which went on for ages. Sick area except for the trees which were really stunted and thick

Ran a course in the Warren which was such a sweet area really nice native bush with tons of mtb tracks. Quite technical as well. Didn't wuite get up to 60min but had a big bike ride there and back so it kind of makes up for it. Not really...
