Went for my first run since Wednesday, and shins felt good. Did a bit of a fartlek session with 6 x 10sec efforts on the flat, and 4 x 15sec efforts uphill. Really slippery and had no traction. Didn't have much energy because I have hardly been eating the past few days.

Felt like absolute crap last night, really sick in the stomach, like I needed to throw up, but couldn't. Also didn't feel like eating at all so didn't do the 60min ride. Think it was some dodgy chicken burrito I ate...

Rode around some mtbo in Happy Valley. Lost so much time trying to punch the clip card at each control, and then my map holder blew away so I just had my map in my hand. Man I hate mtbo. It doesn't flow at all like foot o and you dont get the amazing feeling of running through terrain.

Rode with Oli from Johnsonville to Makara peak along the skyline, and then helped out at a working bee to get free lunch. Then we rode down but both our bikes broke so didn't end up going to Red Rocks

Went for a short run to test if shins would hurt, but thankfully they didn't. Short mission in Otari but felt a bit slow after cold

Finally I am able to run today, which is mint. went to do a 30min ruin but it was so fun it ended up being 40... No pain though which is sweet

Went up to do the race on Te Ahumairangi but it was cancelled so me and Oli rode around the course for fun. Really muddy and wet, but mint fun. Got a puncture and when I put the spare tube in that burst strait away too. Sucks...

Rode with Ed to the top of Kaukau and then along the Skyline along to Emedee. Was pretty tired after doing a 4hour mission with Ed before hand. Went up the gorge from Vasanta and mucked around a bit climbing the cliffs. Then we had to smash our way through heaps of solid gorse which was a pain. Missioned down Khandallah stream

Went aqua jogging today which was pretty weird. Its actually really tiring if you go hard out. Had a bit of a warm up and then 4 x 1min with 30sec recovery, 200m swim, and then repeat. Too tall for the pool so I only had about 5m of pool that I could actually jog in without touching the bottom

Went riding with Oli on Crows Nest, but it was so so cold my hands froze up and I couldnt change the gears.
