Warm up, went and looked at start, few times round the parking field, then realised I forgot my compass, ran back to get it, did some stretching in my 5mins spare.

Warm down, short jog.

Didn't feel as long as I though it was going to, happier with today's result, 8th. Brought me from 16th to 8th overall.

2nd Scottish person overall and 3rd top year 18 :)

Rest Day before JK, think we're planning on doing a bit of sprint training on way down tomorrow. Also planned some courses for myself on 'Purple Pen' to geek.

Woke up this morning feeling proper crap. Can't breath through my nose at all and sore throat. I am actually so sick of this being ill, it's an absolute joke, as soon as I start training again I can't. It's like I'm just not meant to do well at all this year. JK is the last thing I need this weekend, not to mention getting graded in Basketball today. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh

Forgot my garmin. Time and distance are estimates. To be honest it was what I did in the session that mattered. Did the suggested dynamic drills (high knees, short sprints, bum flicks etc) to improve my running style, did them on a dirt track rather than the road. With the snow blowing horizontally in my face. Didn't feel quite as crap as I thought I would with being ill, which was nice :L my face was numb when I got home.

Again did the WUD thing, warm up about a km to the track then started drills up to Lanton, warm down round small loop for some terrain was quite wet and muddy and then down the field home.
