Running 23:12 [2] 3.52 km (6:35 / km) +15m 6:27 / km
ahr:132 max:144 shoes: O-VJ-Grey-Spikes

After a day with the kids doing a little skiing at Whiteface, where it started out a nearly 50 & sunny, but dropped to 35, cloudy and windy.

Another almost-night run on the same old railway track in 2-4 inches of mostly refrozen snow, to the east - would've been nice to have more light and do more of this.

Running 16:45 [2] 2.64 km (6:21 / km) +40m 5:54 / km
ahr:132 max:144 shoes: O-VJ-Grey-Spikes

All day drive from Valley Forge, PA, to Lake Clear, NY to a nice cabin populated with many orienteers - organized by Bernie.
Short night run on some an old railway track in 3-5 inches of snow/slush.

Running 54:14 [2] 8.98 km (6:02 / km) +190m 5:28 / km
ahr:136 max:151 shoes: R-NB 891's

VF Mt. Misery and a bit west on some roads. Saw a guy on horseback on Yellow Springs Road who saw my jacket & map and asked me if there was an orienteering event today (alas, no.) Apparently he is an adventure racer and sometimes DVOA orienteer.

Running 1:01:33 intensity: (30:31 @1) + (27:04 @2) + (28 @3) + (1:21 @4) + (2:09 @5) 7.81 km (7:53 / km) +77m 7:31 / km
ahr:125 max:179 shoes: R-NB 891's

Back and forth near 4 kids and 1 other adult who were biking, scootering, or walking to Wilson Park, and back. Got away for one 1km (slightly downhill) 'interval' in 3:19, while they were at the playground. This pace seemed awfully fast (and gravity assisted), yet one must run 3:00/km for 2 hours to do well in an Olympic marathon. Crazy.

Running 1:23:16 [2] 12.12 km (6:52 / km) +330m 6:03 / km
ahr:141 max:157 shoes: O-VJ-Grey-Spikes

VF park in somewhat slippery conditions - snow/ice covered trails meant we ran in the forest often, as that was less slippery.

With Tom & Angelica. Tom didn't eat enough, so was lagging behind a bit, but he had few complaints even with the off-trail, snowy, Mt. Misery portions of the loop.

Running 53:15 [2] 9.83 km (5:25 / km) +75m 5:13 / km
ahr:140 max:151 shoes: R-NB 891's

Chesterbrook, with Angelica, who really wanted to run 6 miles but didn't have much time.

Running 38:37 [2] 6.27 km (6:10 / km) +144m 5:31 / km
ahr:139 max:153 shoes: R-NB 891's

Mt. Misery, down the SW park border. Thinking about setting up a Boggs Mt. Misery loop
