Running long (Paved, dirt trails) 2:24:00 [2] 25.04 km (5:45 / km) +100m 5:38 / km
ahr:135 shoes: R-NB Grey Shoes

Schwenksville city park on Perk. trail (playground) to home, 1-way. Got Mt. Dew @ Wawa at ~45 minutes - with their 'blink' pay I was in & out of the store for less than 30 seconds... Was getting a little achy/tired and then got Gatorade @ ~1:45, and that got me the rest of the way. Was really having fun crusing along after the 2 hour mark on trails. My R-achilles was basically fine, competing with my left hamstring for a little attention, but not slowing me down. I may try light speedwork on Tuesday.

Strength 5:00 [1]

20 pushups, 100e ankle work. R-achilles is a bit odd.

Running (Paved & Muddy Grass) 55:30 [2] 6.0 mi (9:15 / mi) +100m 8:48 / mi
ahr:127 shoes: R-NB Grey Shoes

Some with Vadim, some by myself. Could feel the R-achilles the whole time, but in never got bad (like the last few days.)

Running (Paved & Dirt trails) 57:31 [2] 9.24 km (6:13 / km) +180m 5:40 / km
ahr:132 max:144 (injured)

R-achilles much better - no pain until 3 minutes, then only mild pain for the next 50, enough that I ventured onto some new (to me) dirt trails off the side of the Horseshoe trail near 113. Fun run, but then, on pavement donwhill about 5 minutes from the car, something happened (not sure what) and it got as sore as yesterday...

Running 56:30 [2] 9.4 km (6:01 / km) +120m 5:39 / km
ahr:126 max:156 shoes: R-Nike Blue & White

Painfully slow run, mostly on the 5 mile loop pavement, still due to Right lower-calf/Achilles pain. The pain seemed a bit better today:
1) it was little higher up in the calf, mostly above the ankle bone and in the lower inside muscle, and
2) after about 30 minutes, it did stabliize a bit and the pain induced nausea subsided... And I managed to run the last 3 miles in under 10 minutes each...
3) it barely hurt at all in the afternoon.

But it is getting achy this evening. I think I should hit the Ibuprofin (haven't had any yet today.)

Running 38:22 [2] 5.94 km (6:28 / km) +40m 6:15 / km
ahr:117 max:142 rhr:36 weight:69.9kg shoes: R-Nike Blue & White

R-achilles inside still darn sore while running. It kinda warmed up better today - i.e. at 12 minutes, the pain maxed out, and then slowly faded and returned in waves... Not quite enough to make me stop (e.g. only slightly nauseated from the pain... :) Was going quite slow - not trying to do anything hard - just warmup/jog to get it to feel a bit better.

Running 8:30 [1] 0.94 km (9:03 / km) +20m 8:10 / km
(injured) shoes: O-Black/Green VJ Spikes

Since yesterday after the run, the inside of of my R-achilles, just behind the big ankle bone, has been sore walking around, causing a mild limp. I was hoping it would warm up okay this morning so I could do the planned hill intervals, but it just got worse for the first 5 slow minutes, so I headed back, massaged and stretched it.

Running 4:00 [1] 0.6 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: R-NB Grey Shoes

About an hour after the first run, I tried to run a mile. No luck, the achilles was getting quite sore. Took a few advil in the late evening and ran another 30 seconds. That was fine...

Running 54:00 [2] 5.0 mi (10:48 / mi) +50m 10:28 / mi
shoes: O-Black/Green VJ Spikes

Super icy slick at VF park 5 mile loop. Had spikes, but Jackie & Angelica did not so I ended up holding their hands at times to keep them upright, esp. Angelica who apparently has near zero tread in her running shoes.

L-hamstring suprisingly sore today - most in a few weeks (just a general area burning after sitting at work...)
