OMM Bike - Day 2 at Cannock Chase

Much better day than yesterday. Felt stronger physically and was far more mentally aware and able to concentrate on navigation. I think borrowing a second sleeping bag of a friend helped me to keep warm the night before. Much different to Friday night.

Finished 5th today which lifted me from 15th to 9th overall.

Pentyrch Hill Race but with a variation on previous years. It did not go through Lan Farm as they wouldn't provide permission apparently. As a result the course was slightly longer.

I was far slower than previous years even when you compare time to first summit. Need to get back to running!

Note

This is the heaviest I've been for a while - since Xmas I think so need to eat and drink properly from now.

Intend to stop drinking alcohol until ITERA in August to try and get back to 76kg i.e. less than 12st (76.2kg).
