Cycling 20:00 [3]

Easy cycle to the ultrasprint trying to shift the hangover

Sprint Orienteering race (LOK Ultrasprint Course A) 7:47 [3] ***
shoes: Lunar glides 2 1st pair

Wow head exploded - didn't handle the maze section very well and legs weren't giving me anything

Sprint Orienteering race (LOK Ultrasprint Course B) 8:08 [3] ****
shoes: Lunar glides 2 1st pair

Hmm well was running faster but mispunched and incurred a 30 second penalty - still not getting it reading the canopy (tree) poorly

Sprint Orienteering (LOK Ultrasprint Course C) 6:27 [3] ****
shoes: Lunar glides 2 1st pair

Ok got it together this time, nicely warmed up after the first two and was reading the course cleanly - came in 18th/77 much better than the 45th and 43rd for the previous two

Sprint Orienteering race (LOK Ultrasprint Final v2) 8:10 [3] ***
shoes: Lunar glides 2 1st pair

Was hectic - four runners on four courses with 20 second intervals - actually was an ok run bit slow still no kick in the legs, had a nice little head with Mark Saunders where we tussled over a control and then blew him away on the dead running but messed up in the maze letting him past...

Was 11th overall which was acceptable but wasn't really pushing it enough with any of the races should have done much better, hangover didn't help matters either

Cycling 20:00 [3]

Back from the race to home, legs aching

Urban O race (4th City of London Race) 1:06:37 [3] ****

A mixed race, didn't feel like a was running that well and dropped 4 min on controls 3 and 4, didn't get the level right for 3 in the Barbican and was just a Mong at 4 other than that though fairly clean.

Was 27th overall which is my best London position to date so happy with that, but an opportunity for greater thongs lost as potentially could have Been much better, ce la vie

Running (Heathside) 58:00 [3] 8.0 mi (7:15 / mi)
shoes: Lunarglides 2 2nd pair

Quite a nice session, didn't feel as hard as last week and was moving ok. Group was different though and speed might of been down though. Ran past Jonathon Wosses house .

Turns out exactly the same pace as last week! Shows how much the BAOC event took out of me as was creamed last week, but felt comfortable this week.
