Running - easy 1:43:00 [2]
shoes: Inov-8 X talon November 2018

After a whole life of having christmas at home mum has gone rogue and booked a cottage in the Dales. Went to explore up on the moor on one side of the village. Nice steep edge to get up first, then mixed moorland on the top.

A few easier training days now i think, there's not much chance of a cross-trainer here.

bit slow off the mark after getting up to work at 5.30. everything a bit tight from yesterday, luckily Kim was on hand to remind me it was more sensible not to go ahead with a session and just take it easy instead. forge dam with a bit up gratuitous slipping about up and down bingham park on the way there and back. slowly the pace is looking a bit more like "normal"

Stretching. Trying to figure out what it was in yesterday morning's session that has given me full body doms
9 AM

Running - easy long 2:00:00 [2]
shoes: Inov-8 X talon November 2018

Two hours! Another milestone :-) usual kind of route out with max terrain after wyming brook, then carried on from the headstone up eventually to stanage pole. Lots of quite heavy terrain but stopped being radical after that. Last few km along the path after redmires back to the edge of town i tried to open out a bit, no problem from the injury here and felt quite good considering how long it's been since ive been able to do that.

Alternative training 45:00 [2]

X-trainer. On the way to my long run i was assigned the biggest work project of the autumn, so the rest of the day has been a bit nuts but i made it out for a small one. just easy today.

Running - hard intervals 21:00 [3]
shoes: Inov-8 X talon November 2018

A bit late, had some work to finish before i got out. 7x3/1, heather with a path or two in places. Much better reaction to hard surface running yesterday, so went ahead with this even though i was watching my step a bit. Apart from that running legs seem to be coming on now, felt strong and Kim says i was running better yesterday than in september. Probably a lot to do with being happier but nice that the ordeal of so much X-trainer seems to be working too.

Running - easy warm up/down 48:00 [2]
