Note

noticed that my lymph glands are swollen. i think i didn't rest enough or eat well enough on friday evening or yesterday. dont want to get sick so no harder training like i'd planned (actually i sort of was going to run the training race but Gunilla told me to go home ;-) )

with some of the guys on "small tracks" (snöpuls) in Nåsten. thought this was only an hour but went ooon and ooon, hadn't had enough breakfast for this and turned into another ihatewinter day. cut a bit short at the end. not quite as easy as today was supposed to be, tho no more training as club has 20yr anniversary celebrations.

explored further into Hammarskog today. much fun until just starting to head back home and ran out of grip. had no wax with me so it was tough and frustrating on the way back. enjoyed downhill practice at Fäbodarna and came back via Norbyspåret this time. Rest of day on Linné business.

quite easy stuff today, so im not wrecked for intervals. still enjoyed the bat machine thingy tho, it's my new favourite

3 (10x40/20), 2min set break, with Linné. a bit unsure of what speed i should run but settled in fine running approx. with Ross and felt fine! quite cold this evening... average pace 4:10 including jog recoveries, making about 190m give or take, which is okay as it was an icy and undulating road rather than a nice running track. weekend will be a bit easier than normal i think.

back at it this morning, better tracks and conditions meant i ended up i Hammarskog by the time it was time to turn for home. out a little longer but good chat with Ulrika A-M and a short skiing lesson from an old man.

I think there will be little chance of hard running this evening (might even ski instead) so went for mixed hills along Slottsbacken, starting at Drottninggatan and finishing at Sten Sture. didnt actually get a lot done as it took so long to slide my way down again but good to get a little bit of harder work for legs and lungs (even with lots of layers on and not so much grip).

yeeehh i'm a bit tired now. sort of saw it coming. good to have email from Kim this morning saying take care, so i will. dont think i can do anything useful tonight so will take my rest now, hang out in KG and do some training planning for next few weeks. maybe some knitting too.

Nåsten again. in though the N end then just followed the track all the way out the SW end to the road, then home via Fäbodarna. Really good with some grip and recent tracks (though snowing and windy meant they were drifting over quite quickly). felt like i was actually getting a good workout this time, the most ive enjoyed skiing this year, maybe ever.

feel like i should be a bit careful with the volume though lots of energy still. odd.
