Västerås track. still not feeling amazing but had been looking forwards to this all week so went along for assortment of easy laps and drills whilst Inga and Liutas ran intervals. worth the drive out to run properly :-) feeling fine for steady running but glad i resisted temptation to join in the session and the invitation to Gropen Extreme this aft.

one of those half-sick days, slightly off in throat and head. nothing major, maybe rest altogether or something easy and indoors this aft...

feeling better enough this aft to be really wanting to get out and do something. so wrapped up warm and got out... on my bike to the gym to run in the warmth. easy pace (5m/km) and actually felt pretty good.

Orienteering - hard intervals 25:00 [4]

Sprintervals round Stenhagen. Really enjoyed this. Aim was to use my own brain even when we ran mass starts, important as it was gaffled. not perfect but much better than most night trainings this winter! feeling more in control, when i did catch myself paying attention to what the others were doing i made myself look back at my own map. thinking ahead well most of the time too.

two running intervals either side of the orienteering. hmm couldnt keep with Annika here. was it cos im not re-acclimatised to the cold yet (always hard to push hard when its this cold anyway)? or post-strength training? or still recovering from last week? but quite possibly she's just a bit fitter than me ;-)

Corridor in Nåsten. one difference between my better and not-that-good legs at the weekend was how sure i was with where i was going. sometimes i didnt allow enough time to take in the info i needed and then either ran blindly to the wrong place or got really insecure. so thoguht a corridor in Nåsten would help. went really well, only one deviation from the line and making sure before i went anywhere. good.

snow DISGUSTING though. knew it would be crap coming back after Portugal. no desire to do that again soon!

a second recovery day! feel like i can get back to normal tomorrow. Tisdagsbana with Kajsa. heavy going in the snow. not so strong atm, good motivation to get down the gym tomorrow. otherwise time flying by :-)
