really enjoyed this, found some new tracks that weren't at all technical but had some longer gradual uphills (like these best cos its more like running). felt like i really worked hard for the first time on skis :-)

got tempted by talk of a run! down the road and back up with Ross and Boris. was this an easy run? not sure, it was a loooong hill all the way back up.

the day's skiing (two sessions, took off some time for faff and chatting). started by falling down big hill, feeling miserable. then accidentally ended up on more difficult track than i wanted, which was traumatic but also fun, got over fear of downhills somewhat :-) afternoon with no grip which made it interesting... Kajsa said it looked okay but feel v much like a runner

treadmill again, much too cold for intervals outside! not such a happy bunny this morning so pleased to get something done and get away with comfort eating pastries before training. rearranged this evening's Linné training to make 5-5-4-4-3-3-2-2-1-1, kept recoveries to 1min. not getting near speed on track last Sat, starting at 4:00m/km only getting up to 3:30k/km on the last two, but still nice to complete the session when not feeling v springy or mentally tough!

about time to make an effort with this. warm up and dow was cycling to and from gym (back tyre catches a bit giving lots of drag so quite hard work til i get it fixed). found they not only have foam rollers there but orange bumpy ones too :-D

hrrrrrr this is not the most fun i have ever had in a forest. ran out to Vårdsätraskog for training, found that even without a group to distract me i could not do anything right, making all my plans as i do in the day with assumption of high visibility, which did not work. then because in a massive mood with myself for being so shit (and also finding HUGE bubble in new compass on second outing, i think from the cold?). then i started to adapt on the last few controls. so may not quite be beyond hope.

have stopped being hungry and tired though :-)

Tisdagsbana. feeling a bit tired, i think from moving and lots of new stuff (even good changes are tiring!) and today wasn't a time to push through it, so just ran easy round the 14km.

kicking off not-so-much-running week. this was pretty boring, good motivation not to get injured.

started using scales in the gym. i think theyre set too light? but will try and mantain this kind of weight i.e. not get lighter.

Steady with Lisa C, later Kajsa and Annika too. Nice chat and nice evening. calves tight as anything but rest of me feeling better than yesterday.
