(1hour 15) Slightly bizarre alternative to morning jog. let's forget yesterday happened, so many things went wrong! one of them was not getting a car for today. so i got the Linne bus from KG instead...

Orienteering - hard race 30:00 [4]

25manna. So so empty in my legs, not surprising really after being so stressed. sometimes i wasnt taking the right routes for the terrain, somehow im still not confident about when to go round and when to go straight. i think its cos in Uppsala you only really go straight. one miss (not climbing hill enough, too much time on 2,5m Uppsala contours?) and felt like i was losing time all the way even though i had good plans and was stable, having confidence to ignore everyone else. surprising to somehow keep just about with the lead, maybe moving faster than it felt?

loved being a part of the first team and not having a disaster for them ;-) and spending a day with Linné cheering on everyone else!

(1hour 15) no post-race socialising for me :-( had to use the last light to get back home. never has so much deer been eaten by one girl in one sitting!

from Gamla Uppsala on way to picking up tots from dagis, on the tracks i used to run on when lived near here. pushing a bit up hills, some drills and strides near end, mostly easy - getting bounce back but tired calves, so nothing serious.

Lunsen time! feeling lucky to be free in the mornings so i can do this. when does elk shooting start though? mostly good plans, less faff than last time. one berry stop.

more than intended, tried a new track and got lost! also, not much fuel in tank. need to remember to feed self enough as well as making sure the kids eat well! also family need to get used to how much i eat every meal! mega lunch to try and make up for it...

Running - hard intervals 24:00 [4]

Linné intervals: 4(3,2,1min) i think for the first time ever i ran intervals right! not wanting to push so hard, stuck with Sam who had a good pace but not so fast to make you tired too soon. we were able to run quicker at the end and still able to smile, not digging deeper than you should. Good for now when its not worth trashing legs just to run intervals a few seconds faster. also cos i picked up the wrong shoes on the way out, hardly any different to X Talons but just not feeling quite as good to run in on forest tracks.

Hittaut run. i think i went right through the Sprint SM 2014 embargo. oops. at least can train there now... legs going quite okay for a sick girl.
