from Norby round in Stenhagen. Line, tisdagsban-stye, with Johan H and Mikael N. Trying my best to read the map myself and not just be lazy and follow the boys. trouble was they dont get it wrong v often! got a bit tired in the forest near the end.

also, am so so excited to be part of Linné's first team for a relay for the first time ever! To 25manna, so not quite like Venla, but still it feels good. i'll do everything i can to run well here. had not had this or Smålandskavlen down as something to really go for, just some fun for the off-season, but i can't help it :-) can't wait to race again!

Alternative training (Cycling) 1:15:00 [3]

(2hours 30) Felt like a re-run of Thursday, also probs good to do some aternative training. So combined the two and cycled to KG and back. Rained most of the way. Also not feeling the sharpest ever after being kept awake til HALF PAST 5 by some of the visiting hunting party having a drunken argument in the room below mine. Serves them right that they were too hung over to go and kill things this morning, toff @rseholes.

grass and gravel tracks from home. just as fast as i felt, still on a bit of a break from structured and harder trainings. trying to keep a nice strong shape though, and some strides at the end.

a massive training fail! thought i would be training earlier but unplanned day looking after a sick tot meant i wasnt free til 5. but then i could go to Linne 25manna test?! quickly got stuff together, found car had almost no petrol but i had no money so a bit worried i might run out or not get there on time then got there to find training was at 5 not 6 tonight. so was not in the best state ever! ran as much of a hurriedly-pinched-off-Boris (thanks!) map as i could before it got too dark. i was completely vacant in my orienteering. so for what it was meant to be - running stable in Nåsten and showing i could orienteer in Sweden ahead of next weekend - it was completely pointless. but i enjoyed myself and feeling okay physically. so at least i could laugh about it instead of cry! made it back too, though the car was just about flatlined...

Probs last morning run here (early off tomorrow), so nice when the sun is coming up. looking forwards to going back to sweden though and getting off the asphalt, im a bit scared of guard dogs (and peackocks!) to go off the main roads, hard to tell what's private.

Crete is quite mountainous, the highest point is something over 2400m. also loads of places that would be brill for orienteering, bushy and rocky. are there any maps here? would be good for winter training, just now its not so comfy to run between 9am and 6pm...
