some of the Braids night-O i missed last Thursday. not the whole course, trying to keep today quite easy. not getting into it straight away but btter by the end. glad i went out :-)

running to and from Braids. hangover pace, plus took a wrong turn on the way there.

Orienteering - hard race 36:04 [3]

city race. highlight was running into a chain blocking the entrance to a carpark, winding myself and falling flat on my back at the same time. mostly okay, some dithering in the second half - i kept making things more difficult than they needed to be, worse once tired. slippery pavements.

running quite okay.

also spent lots of time looking after conrols. chilly!

feeling loads better after a chilled out day and an early night, just a bit snotty. legs actually felt really good running to CSE and back :-)

home to CSE, 30mins running practice, CSE to Lidl. Legs feeling good and bouncy again, a bit bizarre after yesterday but hope it just means i'm all recovered.

i think i had this coming! woke up with raised HR, fuzzy head and tingle in throat. think a rest day will make it better. not been resting enough. will do some rolling, some geeking and some uni work.

Pentlands easy week nearly-long O. Jog to start with Doug then with the wind behind all the way back to Hillend. Lovely to be back out here. Contact lense fell out to make life interesting, nd some features werent there in real life, but pleased with my O'ing today, looking beyond the control feature for big things to run towards.

Legs starting to feel more normal, a bit tired but i think that was from being not too long after this morning's efforts.

Learning to run. To CSE then half an hour on the treadmill looking at myself in the mirror. Hard work but concentrating better than yesterday. Just about everything can be improved (shoulders, arms, gluts working properly, leg lift, foot placement) but i think its a nice aim to have atm.

Physio about shoulder. good news, strong enough to lift some teeny weights now! will begin that tomorrow.

New Walshes! on the grass to protect shins (some near misses wihen crossing over Hollie, who was on the paths). good to get out and do this but also glad to be keeping it easy this week.

short session, still not feeling recovered, but can never resist a few intervals :-) not too hard pace, not really possible with 40s recovery. 600, 800, 6, 8, 6, 8, 6. No times tonight, watch battery needs replacing again.

usual stuff plus using the Keiser to do squats. 10mins spinning after with 1kg in each hand. not feeling too bad, just tired legs. after going on about it all weekend, forgot to use the Purple Ball for rolling feet :-(

planned to not run today. keeping legs moving at a packed CSE

but spent a few mins on treadmill concentrating on running technique. cant really concentrate hard for any more than this. next to a mirror, which was useful.
