Feel lazy doing this but i think i need it after all the excitement of yesterday.

Sofie ran the last leg for our first team. She was some seconds faster than me and was really disappointed with her race. http://sofie-johansson.se/2011/05/01/10-mila-ett-p... Time to tighten up my standards a bit!

10mila. Rasa was sick :-( so i got promoted to the second team. Our first three legs did really well so i ended up on GPS :-D then Sofia lost a bit of time on 4th so i went out quite a long way back in the end.

Really pleased not to do any big mistakes and get some of the difficult legs spot on, but i did do a few hesitations and went to the wrong gaffel twice, i think i lost about 3 mins if i add it all up. Quite a long race for me too atm, really tired on the last loop and had to slow down to stop me making stupid mistakes. Legs not quite 100% bouncy but loads better than last weekend, felt like i was actually racing again. Didnt manage to stay with Turun Suunistijat, but apparently it was Vroni K. S. so i'll let her off.

Nice to feel like things are going in the right direction again :-) loads to work on looking at GPS but well motivated now! http://www.tulospalvelu.fi/gps/10mila11D5/

Same as yesterday! Just on tracks today to Gamla Uppsala and back, enjoying the sun. Excited for finally going to my first Tiomila tomorrow! :-)

Had been wanting to do some orienteering training but have friends staying and everything is a bit hectic. Just an easy run from home to chill out, but being quick and bouncy on any hills i ran up. Shorts and sports bra weather today!

Last needles treatment, nearly everything gone from my ankle now :-) Really painful after though, another reason not to go out dancing tonight...

Feeling better this morning, went for a run to see how that worked and it went fine. Everything is really green now :-)

So dont know if i was actually sick or just really run down, but either way i learnt a bit about how to prepare properly for a race that matters.

So after deciding too much travelling is bad, i'm running NORT again. Big surprise after the weeknd! But exciting, hopefully will give an extra boost in training :-D

Linne training in Lunsen. Started really well today, good direction and confidence and even caught some of the girls who started before me by the second control. But then i had problems, trying to hold the same speed and race everyone else as the course went to a more difficult area, with lots of one-contour hills that all looked the same. I wasn't being careful enough or confident in my own decisions, not giving the terrain enough respect. I made mistakes on nearly every control in this area. A course to run again sometime! But nice to have some good bits and feeling a bit more awake in my legs today, and lucky for me 10mila isnt going to be here :-)

Still not quite right, even after going to bed at 8.30 last night! Travelling again. Will try to avoid so much travelling to races in future, more tiring than i used to think.

We have teams for 10mila now, exciting! After my umm 'mixed' races this spring am feeling lucky to be on team 3. Nice last leg anyway, hopefully means chasing down lots of other teams :-)
