Borrowed dad's skis, went out early before it had a chance to get slushy. Will do more later if the snow is still good :-)

Had a headlamp tonight but still scared s***less when i saw a creepy old man. Will be nice to have the eljusspår back in a few days!

Head a bit fuzzy this morning, thoguht I might be getting ill, so just went along with Dad on a short easy Christmas run. Felt fine though once I was out.

Mulgrave, along the ridge - still my favourite route to run, and even nicer in the snow :-)

Feeling better, but just ran steady again, still feeling kinda heavy after Christmas dinner.

From home, managed to scare myself stupid in the dark! Also could feel my shin a bit again, so fingers crossed the weather is okay for skiing tomorrow.

It's warm(er) today, the snow is a bit slushy for skiing, so stuck in the gym. Just easy training but gave myself 2 cos i had abdominal cramp, which made it harder :-/ Hope i'm feeling a bit better this afternoon...

Warm-up with dad, then recoveries and really slow jog down the hill at the end, trying not to hurt my shin or slip on the slushy snow.

Finally got some hills done :-D 2x1min, 2x2min, 2x3min, 2min, 1min

Sandsend. First tried a new hill but found it was only 2 mins long so moved to the concrete on Lythe Bank for the longer ones. Not quite a complete pyramid - mum and dad were waiting in the car - and some of the rests were a bit long, but fine for a first session, and felt way better than this morning :-)

Long, slooooooow run. From home to RHB and back, along the cliff and up Raindale on the way home, and down to the viaduct and back up, just for fun ;-) Nice and quiet, saw some views i havent seen for ages :-)

Think Walshes would have been better today, hard to concentrate on my technique when i was worried about where i was putting my feet the whole time (we got more snow, it was deeper than i expected once i got out of town)

Time to burn off the last week of junk food and alcohol calories! Want to give my shin rest from hard running and couldn't fit my aquabelt in my bag to go home, so used the static bike in the gym. Made myself work hard this morning.

From home. Strange to arrive back and find it's not really much warmer than Uppsala, the first time my hair has frozen on a run from home!

To Hawsker and back on the railway, over the viaduct and back at the end so i could run up the hill through the estate to finish. Felt loads stronger than at the weekend, but need to work on running with less of a heel strike.
