Orienteering - easy 38:00 [1] 4.9 km (7:45 / km)
slept:3.0 shoes: Walsh PB racer

Granny jog round Craigmillar - legs a bit knackered from yesterday. Really enjoyed it, the frost was really pretty. A couple of technical mistakes, not concentrating enough as was wondering whether the body would hold together lol...
Hardly any sleep though, flat dessert time with chocolate mousse at 9pm probs not the best idea when this sensitive to caffeine!

Running - easy hills 9:00 [3]
slept:7.5 shoes: Adidas Supernova

3 x 3min/1min rest...
right knee a little bit niggly today where the hamstring insertion tendonitis was, so kept it short. Not feeling like my technique was very good even though i was trying with it, maybe my SI joint is the culprit?

Running - easy warm up/down 21:00 [1]
shoes: Adidas Supernova

includes 5mins drills and the breaks between intervals (jogging)

Alternative training 25:00 [1]

Just something to extend my training without pressuring the tendon any further. A few mins stretching afterwards.

S&C 20:00 [2]

easy stuff... because its an easy week...

Note
slept:8.5 weight:50.8kg (rest day)

Rest day, not happy about losing weight, no idea where it went from though as I feel the same. Hmmm. Still, bought some nice new running clothes, a Christmas present to myself :-)

Running - easy 43:00 [2]
slept:8.5 shoes: Adidas Supernova

Not the hill reps I'd tentatively planned for, my legs were feeling pretty tired and heavy from the past few days so I made it an easy run round Holyrood Park instead. Still had some nice hills in it, I tried to concentrate on my technique for these. Slipping about a bit, will try to remember to wear my Walshes next time I do this!!
Think I'm about ready for my rest day tomorrow and physio/massage this evening, I've stepped up my training a bit in the past week or so so next week will be easier, especially as I have an exam and the stress that goes with it.

Note

Physio this evening, painful (but in a good way!) massage to loosen out hamstrings and calves and testing strength, have got better again :-)
Told to keep on doing what I'm doing and apparently I can start running downhill, convenient as I have been doing for it a while!

Swimming 25:00 [1]
slept:8.5

Including a bit of kickboard stuff. Was v tempted to do some other training too but had planned to have a really easy day so made myself not do it. Should be okay for some good training tomorrow!

Running - easy warm up/down 10:00 [1]

S&C 15:00 [1]

Running - easy 33:00 [1]
slept:8.0 shoes: Adidas Supernova

a.m. probably not something that should be advised as it was unplanned and probably falling firmly into the 'junk' category but was reaaaaalllllyyyy bored with revision so went for a granny jog. Nothing serious as I still plan to run this evening. Enjoyed it anyway!

Running - easy warm up/down 25:00 [1]
shoes: Adidas Supernova

Including 5mins drills. Legs dead stiff so needed loosening out.

Running - easy intervals 5:00 [4]
shoes: Adidas Supernova

A little bit of the meadows intervals session, didn't want to go over the top because of my tight legs and past record of over-eagerness.
4x100m concentrating on technique over all-out speed
1x1km (3.45? cant remember exactly)
Tthe intensity was probably more like 3.5 but feeling generous today.
Really happy with what I did and was loads more fun than intervals by myself, might do it again despite it being not on terrain :-)

Swimming 20:00 [1]
slept:8.5

Did 20mins before my shoulder felt dead tired and like it might dislocate, thought I might manage more but maybe not really recovered from the strength stuff I did with it yesterday night?

Running - easy warm up/down 10:00 [1]
shoes: Adidas Supernova

warm up for strength and core

S&C 40:00 [3]

left achilles feeling quite tired from yesterday so took it fairly easy with the hopping things. everything else went fine.
