2 x mini sprint races round the Lodge when we got home, only decided to do it at the last minute so only chance for a teeny weeny jog to warm up. Fun, but my legs were so tired, it took a lot of effort to run strongly. And we had no descriptions and i managed to mispunch, oops!

Shadowing the kids and doing some of my own training. Out on the Trossachs today, can't believe i almost got to 21 without running here! was well nice apart from the bracken. Some yummy bilberries too :-)

Sprint loops, Stirling. Dead tired and had a few brain freezes, was a bit annoyed with myself so re-ran some bits. Short training this afternoon, but think this was about as much as my legs were happy doing. Nice cafe stop afterwards though :-)

Hanging controls, shadowing and stuff at Polmaise. Fun to be O'ing again, the map wasn't amazing, so it was good for making me use my compass.

Wanted to do some more training, but didn't think more running was a good idea so hired a bike from our accommodation and went for a nice ride to Loch Katrine. Pissing rain but good otherwise :-)

From home. Bit tired from this morning but feeling so strong, wish i could have run more like this a few weeks ago! My times were loads faster than they ever used to be. Adductors a bit tight, i think they're just getting used to running again, and left calf a bit tight at the end, so will keep an eye on that.

Going up to Callander for a week's training tomorrow (hanging controls for NEJS), should be fun and will fill up my training graph with lots of pretty blue. i might even learn how to read a map again :-)

My shin is feeling completely better, but I still have 12 days left of the three-week minimum I'm supposed to avoid running for. Gonna be strict with myself and stick to this.

There was a farmer in a tractor going past a few times who must have thought I was completely crazy. Felt quite easy to start with but real hard work by the end.

Along the coast path to Scarborough and back. Always wanted to do this, and now seemed like a good chance. Really nice, some nice long hills, on the downside it might be a while before I can sit down comfortably again...
