Quick little ride around the neighborhood. First real ride on the carbon fiber Scott/Miyata frame that was given to me by a coworker. (It's really old.) And it needs work. The tires are out-of-round (trued pretty well, but they need more to fix the up-and-down dimension). No clipless pedals, no toe clips. Just some random pedals I had laying around. Handlebars are loose, too narrow, and have this weird extra hand position on the drops (I think this shape is now illegal for triathlons, not that I'm planning to do any.)

Not sure what I might do. I might use this shorter stem on my Cannondale. Both are Cinelli, and the reason the bars are loose is the diameter doesn't match the stem.

Overall impression was positive. It was really fun to be out on a bike that fit reasonably well and is just a bit twitchier than my Trek MTB with road slicks. Not sure if I'm going to ride it or use it for parts. I like it, but I'm not sure I should trust an old carbon frame if I'm going down hills at 50+ mph.
