Note

It took me over a month, but I finally wrote up my courses and maps for the US ARDF Championships. Photos, Maps, and my routes for 2m and 80m are at http://offcycle.org/ .

Running 28:23 [3] 3.61 km (7:52 / km) +55m 7:18 / km
shoes: Brooks

Ran with Katie again---This is the third day in a row. I had an amazing run today. I didn't stop until the halfway point, where the last two days I've stopped 400m out and even while running downhill. Today I made it all the way uphill (except for 5m at the bottom that's really steep) without stopping. For me that is just remarkable! My back was aching at the top of the hill, and it's still a little sore. Hopefully it's just me using muscles harder than I have been. I think I need another track workout now to try to keep improving my leg speed. w00t!

Running 30:15 [3] 3.58 km (8:27 / km) +55m 7:51 / km

Almost the same route as yesterday. I felt a whole lot better today, although I was again really out of breath for the first 1km or so. I did a lot more uphill running (still very slow) than I have in the past, and at the end, on the flat, I was even able to pick it up a little.
I ran with Katie, and she's having to wait on me a lot. Maybe we should go to the track so she can just lap me repeatedly.

Running 30:00 [3] 3.48 km (8:37 / km) +55m 7:59 / km
shoes: Brooks

First run in about 2 weeks. Was sick for over a week with some sort of stomach flu, including my first use of a sick sack on a commercial flight---That was...interesting, but only to me. This is turning into a TMI post.

Felt really weak and out of breath. I did my hilly route, though.
