Course set-check-pick 2:00:00 [1]
(sick) shoes: Nike GoreTex

Basically took a walk in the woods today. It was actually sort of a test to see if my lungs are okay. They've felt weird the last few days, and I just got over a nasty sore throat. I'm concerned I might have pneumonia. With the exertion today, I figure I'll know one way or the other tomorrow or Friday.

ARDF 2m race 29:23 [4] ***
spiked:3/3c

2m ARDF at Stanbery Park. Setter was Brian DeYoung. Our club gear is still dodgy---2 of the transmitters didn't work right. The 3 remaining, though, made a really fast, fun course. I got lucky (somewhat) with the order, and did it backwards from everyone else. That explains most of the winning margin---I had about 30 minutes, and second was about 44 minutes. I also did a tiny bit of work on the map. When we finally get a good map there, it's going to be a great little park for short, quick events. The best thing is the choices for white---There are 3 obvious white courses, and 3 more if you reverse those.
