Cycling 32:53 intensity: (2:35 @2) + (12:41 @3) + (17:37 @4) 8.66 km (3:48 / km) +161m 3:28 / km

Quick ride through Sharon Woods plus a return through Sharonville for the long single hill climb back to home.

I researched bike saddles, and the main point was to just start off the year biking moderately and build tolerance. The current saddle has been good to me in the past, so I decided this was good advice. This second ride was much easier on the butt than the first.

Watched "The Grey" (1). I never suspected I might give this movie the (1). I was expecting something like "Taken", but believe it or not, I really liked this. It's got enough action to keep me interested, but enough art-movie cred to make me really enjoy it.

Orienteering race 38:10 intensity: (17 @1) + (20 @2) + (17:39 @3) + (18:59 @4) + (55 @5) 2.91 km (13:06 / km) +71m 11:40 / km

"Forest" sprint at Hisey Park, set by Steve Vaughan. My first time on this map. Really interesting trail network on one of the hilltops. It was very "corn maze-y". I wimped out because of the heat and didn't run the "Field" sprint. I guessed there would be little shade, and I had walked *way too much* of the first one.

Watched the Grindhouse movies: Death Proof (1) and Planet Terror (1). Two fun movies in sort of a 70s drive-in style. The old theater graphics (like "Feature Presentation" and "Coming Prevues") brought back some old memories. The odd-ball splices and scratched film effects were just perfect, although it was a rare event for it to be as bad as this simulated it. Death Proof is just one weird movie, and Planet Terror is a crazy fun zombie movie.
