2m ARDF at Mt. Airy (start/finish at the Loop), set by Dick Arnett. A really fun course, but I messed it up big time. Number 2 was transmitting over 5 and 1, and I completely failed to handle the situation right.
I got them in numerical order, so the laps recorded on the GPS track are the actual T number. Five was probably the weirdest RDF experience I've ever had. I was so close, but the signal pointed the wrong way! A really interesting case of a transmitter perfectly placed in the terrain.
The weather was wonderful. Afterwards I went to the Kingswood Cyclocross races, and then Dick, Brian, and I met to build 80m transmitters. Dick came up with a really nice build, and had all the pieces pre-drilled with fanatical accuracy.

A repeat of a ride I did earlier this summer (except I started by going down Cornell rather than Malaer). 2 big climbs, Thornview and Malaer. 2 fast descents, Cornell and Creek. Felt *really* good. Much easier than a few months ago.
I'm not really sure what happened to me at MU Middletown on Saturday. I was certainly overheated. My best guess is that I had a little cold or some allergies or something.
Cold Prey (Fritt Vilt), 2006 (1): A Norwegian slasher movie. The box compared it to Halloween (the first one) and Friday the 13th (the first one), and said, "...probably the most perfect slasher movie ever made." I am no expert on slasher movies, but I really don't think this stands up well against those two classic movies. I will say this movie is intensely scary, and I really enjoyed that. I thought it was well put-together, with some surprising twists, but that the ending was a tiny bit weak. (Others may disagree. I think it might be something that Europeans and Americans see differently.) It sounds like they were really pressed for cash, but they made a really nice movie anyway. My library doesn't have Fritt Vilt 2, so I'm gonna have to look for it.
