Running---for real! Outside, with shorts! Sweaty! Crazy. (It was the One Hill Route with a lap of the rec center.)

Didn't expect much of a run. The first 200m were horrible. Apparently walking the Red X on Saturday screwed up my biomechanics. Everything hurt. Back, hips, knees, quads, feet. I walked some down the big hill, but mostly ran. And as I ran, I warmed up, and things started to work properly. My back is the biggest question mark, but I'm going to stretch it while it is still warm.

Did really well coming up the big hill---walked a bit, but was able to run with a semi-stable heart rate. Deteriorated on the flat at the end.

It's hard to tell, but I see today as solid proof that my fitness has improved. It's the first time in a long time that my HR hasn't gone through 170, yet I was feeling like my legs were the limiting factor rather than my HR. It's subtle, so don't laugh.
