Longish run with Dave M & Ginny. Legs felt good, but not a lot of energy. Longest run in a very long time. Gorgeous day out...

Sunny, mid-60's. Nice for a run, but would rather have been running in some woods somewhere, but will take what I can get, which isn't much these days. About as hard as my current fitness will allow (ie not much) but no real complaints from the legs - back inside of L knee a bit tight after, but not onerously so.

It is 2 minutes faster than last week, which is some good news..

Around campus > S. Eagleville > Hunting Lodge.

Legs very stiff/achy to begin, loosened up as I went. Feels like tendons, connective tissues etc. Need to start running daily and slowly increasing mileage to get the legs back in form.

Show & Go ride in Ellington, but only 1 person showed, so after 15 minutes rolling around parking lot we went separate ways - I headed up past 4 Town Fair and into Somers where it began raining so I pointed it toward home. Unfortunately that meant up Gulf Rd and if i'm going up Gulf I might as well suck it up and go over the top of Soapstone. Then a loose gravel descent down the backside of the mountain and home on Webster.

spiked:1/1c weight:78.4kg shoes: 285 Roclite C

Troop campout for September will include a hike out to the Tri-State marker in Buck Hill WMA in RI - so I was asked to do a recon run to assess a route for the boys. Using a topo with with a few jeep roads but seriously lacking in trails and good data - so while it was entirely on trails, it certainly had a rogaine 'feel' to it so I'll count it as rogaine training. One control point - the Tri-State marker - successful - trails coming into it from three directions, but none of which were on the map. A good run though another day of very humid weather.
