heading back home today.. .so stoked. only been home 2.5 days in the last 2 weeks! too much travel for this homebody.

ate at a killer authentic italian/spanish place last night. best paella i've ever had.

bone scan tomorrow. can't wait! hoping this show something and I'm just no having phantom pain. over this crap.

Schlafly tap room for dinner last night. had their Dry-Hopped American Pale Ale. impressive.

rented a hybrid bike and rode around with maggie while she knocked out a 90 minute run. cool park with paths and trails. super humid... sweating buckets and not working hard. glad we don't live here!

great hotel sleep. uneventful travel.

got in around 745. got dinner at Kirkwood Station Brewery. tried their pale ale & IPA. pale ale was good, IPA so so even though it has a score of 85 on beer advocate.

good sleep. upper back still really tight from lifting on monday.

picked up my new mtb yesterday. need to order a new stem and get gordon to get in dialed in. Hopefully he can have me ready to rip by next week.

long travel day. maggie finished run at 1245 and we bolted back to hotel so she could shower on the road to oakland at 130. flight at 540. gnarly memorial day traffic. barely made it. got to gate just as we were boarding. nonstop day.

mellow day after morning ride. hung out at pool and the off to auburn alehouse for beers and dinner. in bed early. heading home today after maggie's last run. bummed vacation is ending but stoked to get home and see the pup!

no pain in shin for last few days.

last day in norcal. road from placer high out the 49 to cool and then out and back on salmon lake rd. more killer riding.

killer 8 day block or riding.
