I was almost the last one leaving the start because I could not close the map case... it went off quite fast and I found myself with a few others for the first half of the first loop. Afterwards I was almost alone. No mayor mistakes, fun race, fun course but not too difficult.

Bike-O Sprint Swiss Champs - Frauenfeld - HE - WRE (18/26)
Went ok until the 16th control where I got behind and missed a crossing. Only some 15" lost but leaving the control I was already reading from the next control on... another 30" lost. Another 15" shortly before the end sums up an ok race.

GP Bern (397/10034)
It's such a nice race and I enjoy it each time I run through the old town of Bern!
1s faster than two years ago ;-). Very surprised how well it went considering the last two weeks! Well paced, started a bit on the conservative side and could speed up towards the end. It was raining the whole race but this didn't matter at all...
And I got the golden Bidon ;-).

Note

Plan for Saturday: It looks like my cold goes away and I should be ok by Saturday. I don't know if it will affect me a bit, so I have to be careful. My plan is to stick with Victor R., he is pacemaker for 1:04 a bit slower than what I was aiming for before my cold. If I feel good I'll speed up towards the end, if not I'll ease back. We'll see.

I felt the effort of the last couple days and did not push to hard. It went ok, except for one parallel error where I did not check the compass leaving the trail and ended up a bit off on one slope. Took a few minutes until I realized it.
