O-training Erdmanlistein. Very nice course, ran 95% off-trail (not always the best route but good training). Ran the first few controls with Irene. Had to stop and help some clubmates a couple times.

I had to get some bike in before the Giga OL in two weeks. Took a map with me to practice some bike-O.
Nasty conditions: mud mixed with snow, a few degrees above zero (°C) at least it was not raining.

Snowshoeing up to the Galmschiben (ca. 2400m) with my brother, Yvonne, and Irene. Back down with the Snowboard afterwards. Logging only the uphill part.

Night-O Bern by night, Engehalbinsel
Nice and fun race. I had a good start and was up with the crowd for the first loop. Just when I was about to loose contact I lost one contact lens and was handicaped for the rest of the run. Made a few mistakes towards the end.
There was a Huli special: one control was out on an island, so you got wet up to your knees and that with 0°C outside temps...

Note

No training for a whole week. After beeing in Bed for 3 days (Tue, Wed, Thu) I decided to rest until Sat because my lungs still felt irritated and running in the cold would have done no good to them.

Today we went downhill skiing, no logable training...

Now I feel fresh and highly motivated!
