mountainbike/cycling 6:00:00 [3] 161.0 km (2:14 / km) +3000m 2:03 / km

la chouffe classic.
Together with Ken and http://www.sempstseduvels.be/
As usual after 45k my back started to say that he needed some rest. after each stop, first 15k back was ok, but than he needed rest again.

First 90k I could stay with Ken and the best sempste duvel.
We skipped the second stop - so between 30k and 110k i only had 0.4l water.Certainly not enough.

It was fun and at the end I felt better again - rewarded by a la chouffe!
Very nice track!!
Perfect weather

running warm up/down 27:00 [1] 4.2 km (6:26 / km)
shoes: icebug spirit olx

extended warm up before the race because the mass start was delayed by about 20min. Some good runners at the start - Benjamin Anciaux - Michel Bastin and Dirk Goossens... I imagined that it would be these 3 runners I would see in the forest.

Orienteering race 40:18 [4] *** 6.8 km (5:56 / km) +180m 5:14 / km
spiked:21/23c shoes: icebug spirit olx

Very tricky mass start. I had to run about 40m extra to get my map and than run through a bunch of people picking their maps... ended up about 80m behind the lead after only 100m run.

At control 3 I was in the lead with Michel - Dirk and Benjamin, than took a safer route choice and lost about 10" doing that and I didn't see them anymore, I thought they might have missed the control because it was tricky, until control 8 I thought I was in the lead.

Than I saw Michel again and I could close the gap to him - didn't have any idea were the other 2 were. At control 18 I see Dirk again behind me and missing 19 by about 30" brings Michel in the lead and me and Dirk 30" behind.

Towards the last control we see Michel. I run straight to the last control and arrive first in the stadium - great feeling to arrive first in a mass start of about 100 runners.

running 1:15:00 [2] 15.0 km (5:00 / km) +150m 4:46 / km
shoes: saucony omni 9

running at heverleebos starting from parkingplace E40 - towards Zoete Waters, with extra loop.

Not the best feeling - right achilles painful - hay fever - and blood sugar level problems because had lunch with my boss at 2pm.
It's my last day at work - next wednesday I start with my new job at SKF.

running 50:00 [2] 10.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: saucony omni 9

towards RAM and back + 3 laps.
The woman at the entrance would not let me in without my RAM-membership card so I had to climb the big fence. Reminded me of Belgian Championship in Lommel a few years ago...

running intervals 10:00 [4] 2.4 km (4:10 / km)
shoes: saucony omni 9

accellerations in the straight line... preferred not to do 400m intervals but 10 laps with accellerations... I extented the straight line with about 20m so it became a 30" fast - 30" slow training.
