HVO's red course in Central Park. Time and distance estimated. A very barebones event that didn't attract too many attendees. It's a shame, because it was a ton of fun. Controls were correctly placed, the map was sufficient for finding them, and there were challenges and route choices along the way. No more is necessary to provide a great experience for the competitors. Given the restrictions put on the organizers by the park, I won't be surprised if this is the last O-meet in Central Park for the next decade. This one was well-worth attending.

Six easy miles, out and back, on the Delaware & Raritan canal. Cold, but some good wildlife sightings. Internally debating whether to stay in NJ another day to do the Central Park O-meet on Sunday.
