Getting my spikes posted back to Sportsshoes.com after they sent out the wrong size, in fairness it’s the first mistake they’ve made on any of my orders. Just have to wait now for the correct size to be sent out

Easy Like.......Wednesday Afternoon
Spin out around Woodies and Liffey Valley on the way (12km) to meet Kev for some company. Nice gentle 40mins with him in the PP since he was shaking out from yesterday. Then home via a smidge of Waterstown Park.
Really enjoyable session tonight. Was a little bit nervous of it before hand and worried about hitting the right paces. Wrote them on my hand so I knew the plan. Missed the 1500m on the way down by 1sec and the 1km by 3sec. Apart from that was either on pace or faster so that was good. Felt strong at the end, like I could’ve gone another round of them.

Rainy run so had to root out the jacket again. Brought the map from last weeks Tuesday evening O (clashes with Donore training) and ran around that comfy enough. At a push I reckon maybe low 24s would’ve been do-able on the night. Bit sweaty in the jacket but even still the HR was not as high as the strap suggests......I hope.....more 150s to mid 160s effort level. Found some elephant tracks into a few controls and tried to avoid some of the really long wet grass. Went into it early on during the course and I would've been dryer if i went swimming :D
