Run with Jens and Belle in Curragh Wood. Ran on the other side of the road to usual too which was a nice change and got in some decent climbs. Forest a bit wet and sloppy but good otherwise.

Good foot speed, poor route selection. Got very confused :)

Scrabble type Score-O event in Fota. Really struggled to find a good route to try and clear the area. Got Cupid and Rudolph firstly but then wasn’t thinking and started Comet (which wasn’t on the max points list). Based on the rules and limit on punched controls I had to go the 100 point route, Vixen and Blitzen to finish out. Really cool idea and very very well planned! You can tell Brendan is a Math teacher with all the permutations

Dooby and Nic took better routes, got the 103 and schooled me! Foot speed was good today though, just ran too far. Darren ran @ ~ 4:43min/km, Nic @ 4:37min/km and I did 4:25min/km just not in the right direction unfortunately!

Across the cliffs but they were fairly busy today. Passed a 1992 Olympian and a 10km World Masters silver medalist while out and about! 1 loop of the village to get a Strava segment then across Ballynamona and some of the Ballycotton 5 and Ballyandreen 5 loops. Then across to Mays with granny!

Have to learn the reindeer names for tomorrow morning!

Cliff walk to Ballycotton with Zac in the slop! One loop and then back the same way. Set up a nice strava segment in the village from the old Garda station to the back gate of the Star of the Sea church.......decent climb!

Lap over Ballymacoda direction with Jens. Good to have a catch up and discuss some changes for 2019. Bumped into Nic out for a run on Garryvoe beach too which was unexpected

2 laps of the Ballyandreen 5 loop. 1st one solo and the 2nd with Zac......easy to forget how lumpy this course is. Doesn’t really make sense that it’s where I’ve run my 5mile PB
