Street O training run from the Eaglemont Tennis Club, west along the river track and the back through the streets and parks. I hadn't run in this area before and thought it was the nicest street O l had been on, even though unofficial. I liked a sign on one seat l passed 'If it's going to be, then it's up to me'.
Run around Blackburn lake and creeklands. The lake was well up after the recent rains and covered the track in places, and the wetlands could now live up to their name. Unfortunately my knee hurt and l felt very low on energy, so cut it short and walked back. I'm a bit piled up with work at the moment - all the jobs people have to finish before Christmas (because that's when the world ends, apparently) and that they've had for ages but now can't finish and have outsourced to me.
I was totally wiped out and my mind was running overtime yesterday trying to sort my thoughts after the OA conference, so nothing constructive happened. But a run today, around Benalla lake and gardens, helped me reach greater clarity and hopefully some efficiency in completing the tasks ahead.
No floods in Benalla and a gorgeous day.
