Orienteering 2:05:00 [3] 5.75 km (21:44 / km)

Walk around Kangaroo Crossing course 3 (hard) from March 2014 with Peter, trying to improve his navigation. It was pretty hot (27 degrees) and l am not sure there was any improvement. The aim is for him to be able to get around a moderate course in a few weeks time. The bush looked lovely and green. There seemed to be some new motorbike / MTB tracks l hadn't seen before and that are not mapped. We knew we were at the control sites because you could still see the holes in the dirt where the control stands had been!

Run 37:45 [3] 5.5 km (6:52 / km)

Run around Benalla lake and gardens. It was a pretty warm morning. I ran along with a song from an advertisement stuck in my head - 'accidents can happen....when you least expect them....accidents can happen from time to time'. Because yesterday while at Doncaster Shopping town, l backed into a post that l didn't see at all in the rear view mirror. Looks expensive. Grrrrr.

Run 38:20 [3] 5.4 km (7:06 / km)

Run around Blackburn lake and creeklands, feeling surprisingly good despite still having a sniffle. The bushwalk seems to have improved my running!

Walk 6:00:00 [3] 20.0 km (18:00 / km)

Bushwalk from Dom Dom Saddle (near Narbethong), with various friends of my sister and members of Booroondara Bushwalking Club. It was a tough walk with steep hills that seem to go on forever. My sister's IPhone said we'd climbed 158 stories, but l think it was more than that due to the undulations. I am quite tired tonight and my knee is quite sore from the steep downhills.

Run (Street O) 54:00 [3] 6.43 km (8:24 / km)

More sharing and caring with the street O crowd at Glen Waverley. It was pretty windy and cold, which left me with a cough afterwards. I have got half my voice back, but it is not looking good for the teleconference l have to chair for a couple of hours tomorrow morning. At least l will be a good listener!
