Run 50:00 [3] 7.0 km (7:09 / km)

Run around the bike tracks of Shepparton. I didn't really feel like it.

Run 34:27 [3] 5.0 km (6:53 / km)

Run around the Tan and Shrine area. Didn't really feel great. I stayed at my sister's place last night after going the opening night of Bangarra Dance Theatre's Bennelong. Although the story was a dark part of Australia's history, the choreography was fantastic. The night was made amusing by me having to climb over the Premier to get to my seat, and then finding l was sitting next to a former Qld Premier! Today we went to the Dior exhibition at the NGV. A taste of how the other half live.

Run 42:54 [3] 6.1 km (7:02 / km)

Exploratory tour around the Eastlink trail between Canterbury Rd and Burwood Hwy, including exploring the (other) Winton Wetlands. I came back along the Dandenong Creek trail until it became a bog. I then traversed a bushy section to get back to the Eastlink trail and discovered why wetlands are called that - it would be a nice run in dry weather.

Run 39:20 [3] 5.5 km (7:09 / km)

Run around Blackburn lake and creeklands. The air was full of the scents of wattle and other flowers, which was nice.
I donated blood for the first time yesterday afternoon and felt quite faint cooking dinner in the evening, and wasn't quite sure how long to wait before running - but all seemed OK today. Apparently there are health benefits to regular donation - lower cancer, heart attack and stroke risks amongst them. The blood letters of olden days may have not been as wrong as we previously thought.
