Walk 1:10:00 [2] 7.0 km (10:00 / km)
(injured)

I had a big social weekend and was quite tired so opted for another walk. The weekend included a trip to Ocean Grove for a party on Sat night and a drive home - got home at 1pm. I was planning on staying and camping, but it was raining and the drive home was more appealing.

Walk 58:00 [2] 5.9 km (9:50 / km)
(injured)

I was pleased the street O training event was on the Ruffey Creek map from last Thursday's event, which I didn't go to, because I really like the park area. I planned on jogging but it was quite hot and humid and the jogging didn't happen. Knee was also tender on the hard surfaces in the shoes I wore, so walking was the best option.

Walk 1:05:00 [2] 6.5 km (10:00 / km)
(injured)

Street O in Camberwell. I walked and knee felt good tonight - probably due to wearing the correct shoes. I also volunteered to collect controls, which was a shame, as an administrative error caused them to have been collected already!
The exciting family news (in the Age) is that my sister did a Bradbury yesterday - she was appointed vice chair of DJs after all the others resigned in disgrace after insider trading. Hopefully this means some new discounted clothes for me!

Walk 1:00:00 [2] 6.0 km (10:00 / km)
(injured)

Another event in Blackburn that l couldn't avoid - Geoff's scout O. The usual places, the usual amble....

Swim 35:00 [3] 1.0 km (35:00 / km)
(injured)

Swim in the Benalla pool. Knee was a bit wonky but improved as time went on. I planned to stay an extra day in Benalla, which was a good thing as the Hume Highway was blocked last night due to fires. There are still are few fires between here and Melbourne, but they shouldn't be too much of a problem when I return this evening as the wind has dropped.

The excitement of the weekend was the result of Peter running over a 1m red bellied black snake. He couldn't see it on the road afterwards and thought it had slipped away. But not so. After nearly a full day, it fell out of the car into the gutter in the middle of town when he went in to do some shopping. Luckily for us, and unluckily for it, it was dead.
