Note

Thank heavens that is over! Even though my event was only a MelBush event, there was a good turnout. The courses were generally well received, within the constraints of the event series, and l am looking forward to my next event. Unfortunately a couple of controls were a bit out - but, in my defence, these were ones l was unable to get to yesterday. And everyone, except one person, came back. Luckily we found him wandering a nearby road, having walked off the map. So all good. I'm glad it is over.

Note

Was it so bad that no-one wants to upset me by posting a blog. C'mon folks........

(injured)

I walked around the course for my Plenty event tomorrow, putting out controls. This was the furthest l've walked in months and my first walk aound the course. I could have set a much better course if l'd walked around before setting it. Ah well, never mind, there is always the next one. At least l now know how to do it.

Pilates 1:00:00 [3]
(injured)

Pilates after work. I am definitely getting stronger, although the strength js not even on both sides. I should be able to attempt some other forms of exercise soon, although the use of a brace is a given.

I got the maps for my event this Sunday printed today. Of course l found a mistake on the control descriptions as soon as they were printed, sol will have to make a correction. It is going to rain on Sunday.

Pilates 1:00:00 [2]
(injured)

Pilates at lunchtime. I was thinking of giving up attending these sessions as they take about 2 hours out of the middle of the day - by the time I get there and get back! But I am paired up with a rather fit man who doesn't have an injury but swears by the pilates as a way of building his core muscles for cycling. So I guess I will battle on a bit longer as the benefits do seem to be there. I am getting stronger. 'Pie Lattes'!

This week is Naidoc week and yesterday we had the annual dance ceremony on the floor directly above my head. At least this year I know what all the thumping on the ceiling is.
