Walked from the city to Camberwell - singing Advance Australia Fair on my head. Still cant remember the words. l'm also a bit puzzled about how we got the second verse about sharing our land with those from across the sea!

Run at Reef Hills. Distance and time are both a guess as my Garmin went flat (again). I felt good running today. There were a few things to look at - a man walking an unleashed Rottweiler that looked at me in a very interesting way (fortunately I got past there OK). Then 8 cars went past - on their way to the rifle range - so I assume they all had guns. One driver even whistled at me (probably needs to go to SpecSavers).

Swim in the Benalla pool. I haven't been for 6 months snd l was substantially out of sorts and needed a good stretch afterwards. I had a really strange dream last night - l was the GG and had to lead the singing of the national anthem, but didn't know the words. So l spent a fair bit of today in rehearsals.

Walk from the city to Camberwell after work. I'm feeling a bit down at the moment so the long walk helped. It wasn't so cold tonight.

Orienteering 42:00 [3] 4.8 km (8:45 / km)

MelBushO at Woodlands Historic Park - B course. I jogged slowly most of the way with no issues other than a slip on a log that jarred my knee and resulted in pain for a few minutes and a wobble going into 7 and again between 9 and 10. I was on a par with my contemporaries so was pretty pleased with that.

MTBO 1:16:25 [3] 13.0 km (5:53 / km)

MTBO at Woodlands, following O event. Medium course - score event. I don't think I picked the most efficient route and was slow. Additionally I followed the normal MTBO rules which meant going around tracks even if I could see the control across cleared grass. Of course I think I was the only one who followed the rules as others I spoke to had never heard of them. 'Runnable' white on an MTBO map is where you carry your bike!! This made quite a difference in terms of navigational difficulty and distance. Overall I had a good day and made up for lack of exercise during the week.

Street O at Heathmont on a very chilly gloomy day. I wasn't running very well and walked a few hills. But nice, regardless. Distance is a guess as the garmin went flat after about 15 minutes. At the end I got into the back seat of my car to get changed, as it was cold outside, only to discover the child locks were on!
