Middle distance race training at Rocky ridge. Tricky detailed and rocky terrain. Good visibility made it a little easier to see the controls.

K2 hill climb+ down hill orienteering at Dundas Valley. I managed 3 loops of 80m climb run to the start, then down hill O in detailed reentrant hill side.

Wet, cold nasty weather where only the real hard core people tough it out :)
big puddles on the track, so shoes soaked.

Intervals at Woodroffe HS track.
Warm-up 2 laps around track+ one around the school.
Stretching, then 10x 100m strides.

2000m run as 50m hard, 50m easy, total time ~10:50min.
3min rest
5 x 400m with ~ 1min rest between each lap. Lap times ~1:50min.
3min rest
2000m, time 10:15min ( first to laps 2min, last 3 laps 2:05min each).

Cool down jog 2 laps

Orienteering 1:00:00 [4]

Orienteering interval training at McCarty woods. Three intervals 7:39, 7:11, 12:49, and one longer loop, 22:06. Good speed, tried to read the map ahead and succeeded most of the time. Still a couple of stupid mistakes when getting tired and not reading the map enough. Nice training courses.
